Creating 360°-Images with DAZStudio and Facebook
Problem:
How can i create 360° images for facebook and why is the view often wrong?
How do i do this correct?
Solution:
- Set the render-engine to Iray. This will open more points in the camera menue.
- In the camera menu under "Lens" set the Lens Distortion Type to "spherical"
- The xyz parameters that DAZ gives are incorrect. Above all, set the X axis (and the others) to 0.
- Render a picture in the ratio 2:1 in Iray
- Load the ExifFxier von https://itler.net/panorama-fuer-facebook-und-google-erstellen-incl-360/ from here or somewhere else down and do what is described there.
- Download the ExifFxier from https://itler.net/panorama-fuer-facebook-und-google-erstellen-incl-360/ and follow the instructions there
Warning: Unfortunately, the following tip no longer works:
- When the image is ready, go to your file explorer and open the properties of the image (with right-click on the image).
- Go to the tab "Details" and there to the sub-item "Camera"
- Write exactly in this spelling at the camera manufacturer "Ricoh"
- and the camera model "RICOH THETA S"
- Upload the picture on Facebook. The picture should now be rotatable 360°.
- Unfortunately, this does not work as a Facebook comment, but only as a main entry or in the gallery.
